Basetheme is a starter WordPress theme. It relies on Bootstrap (primarily for the grid) and Advanced Custom Fields, two tools I use in most projects. It includes other basic functionality that I find to be used on most projects. Additionally, it includes many pre-made (but unstyled) blocks that can be enabled as needed.

This theme has two companion plugins: Basetheme Helper and Basetheme Modify Core Blocks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Basetheme and related plugins for use by Atomicdust development team.
  • Determine new features that would help speed development on projects without adding bloat to theme.
